Long-time community activist Art McKoy planned to have a June 25, 2026 protest outside the East Cleveland Public Library regarding the city’s dilapidated streets, especially Euclid Avenue. But he received a phone call from Ohio Senator Jerry Cirino who told him he’s coming to the library on that date to announce the $10 million the city is receiving for street repair.
