Dear residents,
All residents who were on the long standing home repair waiting list have been contacted and provided with an opportunity to apply for the city’s 2026 home repair program. There are now 10 additional home repair spots available on a first come, first served basis.
If you are an East Cleveland owner occupant, who meets the income guidelines, and has not previously received city home repair assistance, please review the home repair application and if you think you qualify, submit the attached application to Habitat for Humanity.
The first 10 qualified applicants received by Habitat for Humanity by July 24, 2026 will be accepted into the program. Submitting an application does not guarantee you home repair assistance. Once the 10 qualified applicants have been identified, all other applicants will be notified that the available spots have been filled. If new spots become available, qualified applicants will be notified.
We know there will be many more applications than there is funding available so please understand that you should not rely on this program for addressing your home repair needs.
