The Office of Congresswoman Shontel Brown is currently recruiting students for our Winter District Office Internship Program, and we would appreciate your help connecting qualified students with this opportunity.
Our internship is a paid or college-accredited, full-time, in-person opportunity designed to provide students with hands-on experience working in a congressional district office. Interns work approximately 35–40 hours per week and take on responsibilities that closely mirror those of a congressional Staff Assistant.
Interns may assist with constituent services, answer constituent phone calls, support front-office operations, manage congressional recognition requests, assist with community outreach and events, prepare event and briefing memos, and contribute to office projects. Interns may also have opportunities to independently lead projects, events, or community roundtables.
We generally seek college juniors and seniors who reside within Ohio’s 11th Congressional District and are interested in public service, government, community engagement, communications, public administration, or related fields.
